Connecting Professionals Through Training, Networking, and Innovation

The Canadian Machinery Vibration Association (CMVA) organizes national and regional events throughout the year to foster knowledge-sharing, professional development, and community building among reliability and maintenance professionals. Whether you’re a seasoned analyst or new to the field, our events offer meaningful opportunities to learn, connect, and grow.

Annual Technical Conference (ATC)

Held each fall, the Annual Technical Conference (ATC) is CMVA’s premier in-person event, bringing together experts from across Canada for training courses, bilingual technical sessions, and a tradeshow featuring the latest in condition monitoring tools. ATC is a place to discover cutting-edge technologies, gain practical insights, and participate in a community that advances reliability across industries.

Four-Day Format (Training + Conference)

Two days of specialized training followed by two days of technical sessions and a vendor tradeshow.

Bilingual Multi-Stream Program

Three parallel streams — two in English and one in French — ensure accessibility for all attendees.

Cutting-Edge Topics in Reliability & Diagnostics

Presentations cover vibration analysis, ultrasonic testing, infrared, lubrication, AI, and more.

Networking, Recognition & Awards

Meet industry peers, win tradeshow prizes, and celebrate excellence with student bursaries and draws.

Regional Chapter Events

CMVA chapters in Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic, Prairie, and British Columbia host a variety of technical days, quarterly meetings, and local conferences that support ongoing education and community engagement.

Technical Days – Themed single-day events with focused presentations
AGMs & Chapter Meetings – Local updates, member involvement, and peer learning
